3 Games that will burn your brain out of existence
Games.
Games are games. Meant to be played, as a refreshment and enjoyment in our life. Yet these games are not like that. They exist to simply punish the player who play them out, but we cannot stop ourselves to not to play them. It's highly addictive, so be careful with them.
The creator of this game, Bennet Foddy, is a true incarnation of evil (joke). Why? Because his games are known for the brutality in making the players
stressed out in hell. In the steam game
description, he even stated that he created this game for a certain kind of person,
and to hurt them. At the time, this game even beats Playerunkown’s Battleground
on the steam sale charts, reaching 2.7 million players worldwide. This game is
so frustratingly addictive. You won’t be able to stop once you play it. Is it
wrong for me to say that we like to be in pain with this game?

3 Games that will burn your brain out of existence
1. Getting over it with Bennet Foddy
'Getting Over It with Bennett Foddy' is a punishing climbing game, a homage to Jazzuo's 2002 B-Game classic 'Sexy Hiking'.
This one can be said is a mildly infuriating game,
where you have to climb up bizarre mountains filled with bizarre objects, with
a very sluggish control over your body. Inside the game, you are in control of a
man, presumably Bennet himself, who is inside a cauldron. With a super strong
pair of hands, which hold a quite long Yosemite hammer, that is used to climb
the mountains... bit by bit
Here are
some footages of the gameplay. Imagine yourself playing this game with that
kind of control. To tell you the truth, I have tried the game, and personally speaking, I almost threw
my mouse out of rage...
2. Rainbow Six: Siege
When you want to force your brain and brawl in a 3-minute intense showoff, Rainbow Six: Siege (R6:S) is here for you. In this game, you have to disarm a critical situation by force, and the critical situation is Terrorist attack. Basically, in this game, you are playing as a Counter Terrorism Unit (CTU) in stopping a terrorist attack of unknown origin. Well, that's the PvE (Player versus Environment) mode. The twist of this game lies in the multiplayer mode, where you are playing in a highly competitive game in a team of 5, battling other team in a terrorist attack scenario. The game starts with attacker storms the defender in a map small yet big enough to provide challenge to both the attacker and the defender. And unlike the other game of the same genre (like CS:GO), R6:S provides you with destructible environment equivalent of small-arms fire that will force you to adapt to every changing situation. There is no pattern in the game, you can do anything with any tactics to win the game. Every battle is unique, there is almost a new path to create in every battle. Every death is a lesson.
The unique point of this game is the destructibility of the environment. Like I said before, this uniqueness is what makes this game different. With other games, the attack/defend pattern is always the same, yet with this game, you can surprise your enemy by destroying walls and floors, placing traps to protect your flanks, and even block the doors to lead your enemy to the other paths. This kind of randomness is the reason why this game is infuriatingly addictive. You won't get bored in every match, like there will be something new, even if it's just a small thing. Yet those things will certainly lead you to death if you don't prepare for it. I myself, when playing this game for the first time, feel so frustrated with the surprise I got. Quite often I curse and rage quits because of the weird angle shots that seems so unbelievable yet it was real. I curse them a lot. Well, see this clip to see what am I talking about.

3. Dark Souls
Whomst has awakened the ancient one? Them, but who is the ancient one? YOU.
Dark Souls is one of the games that provides challenge as its main point. It forces your inner power to come out, yet it is not enough. You will die. That's how difficult Dark Souls is, simply unexplainable.
In Dark Souls, you will face roughly hundred despair-inducing monsters, and on top of that, if you are connected to the internet, you will be connected to the pool of random encountering system, where you may cross path with other players, who may be a good person, or completely douchebag who put you in a trap with giant monsters that plunges towards you. You have to learn a lot in this game, and determination is not enough. You have to strategize your move, and be ready to adapt in every situation, as in Dark Souls, you cannot expect things to go in your way. You will see how unforgiving Dark Souls is, yet if you conquer it, you will feel like being rewarded with unexplainable feeling, a feeling of joy, yet also PTSD equivalent.
You can die in this game, yet you will always rise back in the last safe point visited, but you will lose all your 'money' if you die, and it will be lost forever if left unrecovered.
Dark Souls is a vast world, where every step is a constant wariness of ambush, traps, accidents, and invasion. What I mean with invasion here is that, on top of unforgiving monsters, you may be invaded by another player(s) whose mission is to kill you, no matter what. It will become a battle of strength, wit, and adaptability between you and your enemy. Who can outsmart the others. How cunning and evil you are will be tested in this game, all for one purpose, to overcome all things that exist. This clip will show you how despair-inducing the enemies are.
